Frequently Asked Questions

When should I join—during pregnancy or after baby arrives?

You can join anywhere from early pregnancy through baby's first year—whenever feels right for your journey. Many participants find the second trimester ideal for thoughtful preparation, while others join after baby arrives when they're ready to focus on designing their family life. The program adapts to where you are in the transition, whether you're planning ahead or navigating the early reality of parenthood.

How much time commitment is required each week?

You can expect 90 minutes per week for live coaching sessions, plus we recommend 30-60 minutes for thoughtful exercises and journal work—so about 2-2.5 hours total weekly. That's less than binge-watching two episodes of your favorite show, but the impact transforms how you approach life's biggest transition! Everything is designed to be meaningful and practical, not busy work.

What if I miss a session? Are they recorded?

Life with pregnancy and newborns is unpredictable—we get it. While sessions aren't recorded to protect group privacy, you'll have access to session materials and can connect with your coach and cohort through the community platform. We focus on progress, not perfection.

What if other participants are in very different situations than me?

Every family's journey is unique, and that diversity makes our community stronger. Whether you're pregnant, adopting, single, partnered, or facing complications—you'll find common ground in navigating this life transition. Our coaches are skilled at creating connection across different experiences while addressing your specific needs.

What if I'm struggling with postpartum depression/anxiety or other challenges?

Bold Parents is coaching, not therapy, but we understand the emotional complexity of this transition. Our coaches are trained to recognize when additional support is needed and can help you find appropriate resources. The program's focus on community, practical tools, and expert guidance often serves as a valuable complement to professional mental health care.

How is this different from parenting classes or baby prep courses?

Those programs teach you about babies—we focus on YOU. While parenting classes cover diaper changes and sleep schedules, Bold Parents helps you design a family life that aligns with your values, maintain your identity, and navigate the relationship and career changes that come with parenthood. Think life transition coaching, not baby care basics.
